Alleen op een Landgoed

In 1971 Godfried Bomans and Jan Wolkers each stayed for 7 days at an uninhabited island in The Netherlands, Rottumerplaat, to experience the loneliness and what it's like to be at a place where no one normally lives. Every day they talked about their experiences with Willem Ruis, a Dutch radio show host.

The Institute of Misinformation

The Institute of Misinformation is an ongoing research-based project I started in Spring 2017, to research the effects of graphic design in relation to the authority of signs and symbols and how those influence our behavior.

On-Air

On-air is a piece about the traces we might leave behind with our smartphones, tablets and other WiFi-enabled devices. Over the last couple years WiFi-tracking has become more and more common for large stores and supermarkets to track their customers’ behaviour.

The Gaze

The Gaze is a series of performances held throughout The Hague and Nijmegen, the Netherlands, researching what happens when unwritten social rules are discarded.

Funny Games

I designed two games for the radio show, games which promoted negative behaviour amongst its players. The games were designed to make its players act mean and unfair against their contestants.

IT

Series of manipulative performances for 'Three Artists Walk Into A Bar...' at De Appel, Amsterdam, 2012
